Young Illustrators Award 2010

Presenté esta ilustración al Young Illustrators Award 2010. Según me cuentan, ha conseguido entrar en la lista larga de nominados, que no sé muy bien lo que es pero que no es la lista corta de nominados, que son los que se la juegan. Por ello me han invitado a la fiesta de entrega de premios, la cual será el 5 de noviembre en el Direktoren Haus. Allí estaremos tomándonos unos copazos (pocos, que hay que volver en bici).

Es una escena de la película Quadrophenia, que si no habéis visto ya estáis tardando... A mi me gusta más la versión en negro, que hice más tarde, pero las parkas m-1951 que llevaban los mods son verdes...

I submitted that illustration to the Young Illustrators Award 2010. I made it into the long list of nominees, wich is not the short list of nominees, the list of the ones that are up to the prizes. That's why I am invited to join the Final Party on november the 5th at Direktoren Haus. We'll be there having some drinks (not many, since we have to come back home by bike).

The illustration is a scence from the movie Quadrophenia (a "must"). I like more the black version, but the m-1951 jackets that the mods used to wear are green...
